What a Typical Flooring Project Looks Like
Example Project: Open-Concept Interior Flooring
Here’s what a typical project looks like when a homeowner calls us to update their main living areas. In this example, we’re replacing old tile and laminate with one continuous porcelain floor that runs through the kitchen, dining, and living room.
We start by walking the space with the homeowner, talking through furniture placement, traffic flow, and how the rooms connect to bedrooms, bathrooms, and the back patio. From there, we plan the layout so cuts land in the right places, transitions are clean, and doorways look intentional—not like an afterthought.
Once the plan is locked in, we handle subfloor prep, underlayment, tile setting, and grout, keeping the house as livable as possible during the project. The end result is a smooth, level floor that makes the whole space feel bigger, brighter, and easier to maintain—without the squeaks, lippage, or trip edges you get with rushed installs.
